Favorite Childhood Book

This was my favorite childhood book. I still have it from 20 years ago. I am buying one for my niece because I think she will love it as much as I did. Once I have children, I'll pass mine down. I love that it's organized by date. You can tell just half of the story one day and the rest the next day.

creative and wonderful

I read this to my daughter who is 4.. every day.. I don't always read it in order.. I feel like I am telling stories of the last three centuries.. Stories that were told for a reason... Instead of telling my stranger not to open her window at night because there might be a bad man to take her away.. I can blame it on bad fairies... I know that there are some stories that might be gruesome in in this book but The hero Triumphs Just as My child shall learn to solve problems and over come her fears. This book has all the Classic Stories in it and Stories I wish I could have made up... These stories remind me of the imaginary world I used to make up as a child... Lots of Creative mind fodder for my child to use later.. better than any over protective abc program on TV

My mom's friend gave me this book when I was really little. As I grew up, I read the book over and over. The great thing about this book is that it grows with you. Each time I read the book, I understood a new aspect of each story. It's also a great book to read to your kids because there's a story for each day. Each story is the perfect blend of fantasy and real life. As of now, as a college student, I STILL find myself going back and reading my favorite stories. Buy it at any cost!

My mother bought this book ffor me when i was little. 20 years ago. i still love it and cherish the stories. My brother and I couldn't agree who is going to keep it so we are ordering another. Great book with 365 stories. They are arranged by date. Stories range through every age group. Excellent!
