excellent, must read for every christian, applies to every christian newby and seasoned alike

i HAVE READ ALMOST ALL ANDERSONS BOOKS, THE FIRST BEFORE THIS IS VICTORY OVER THE DARKNESS. THAT BOOK CHANGED MY THINKING ON EVERYTHING FROM MY SELF WORTH, WHO i AM IN CHRIST, HOW VALUABLE I AM IN CHRIST, TO WHY I AM AFRAID TO BE BOLD FOR GOD. THIS BOOK THE BONDAGE BREAKER GETS DOWN TO THE REASONS HOLDING YOU BACK, THE LIES YOU HAVE ACCEPTED ABOUT YOURSELF, CLARIFIES HOW STRONG YOU REALLY ARE IN CHRIST AND GETS YOU GOING ONTO LIVING A FRUIT FILLED LIFE IN CHRIST. IT GETS "THE MONKEY OFF YOUR BACK, FOREVER" A MUST READ FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN.

Of course there will be negative reviews of this book....Satan wants to keep as many people as possible away from exposing his deceptions. This review is not one of those negative reviews...in fact, I can honestly say that this book changed my life. It changed the way I pray. It changed the way I live. OF COURSE Satan wants us to believe that this book is rubbish...but don't buy in to that. I am a deeply devoted Christian who has struggled fiercely in the past with eating disorders, drug addiction and alcoholism. This book teaches how to "plug in" to the POWER SOURCE (which is Jesus Christ) who lives within all born-again Christians. It exposes the lies and deceptions of Satan. This is not a book of "spells". This is practical useful information for living the life that God intended for His children to live. Satan knows that he has lost the battle for the Christian's soul in eternity, but I am CONVINCED that he and his army of demons will do everything possible to rob us believers of our joy and peace in THIS life. Take it from someone who's "been there, done that"...this book is AWESOME. PRAY as you read this book and read your Bible as well. NOTHING can replace the Word of God. God's word must always be the Christians first priority. This book is a great addition to any Christian library, especially those Christians who are struggling in their walk. PRAISE GOD FOR THE VICTORY WE HAVE IN JESUS!!!!! By the way, in response to an earlier post, Neil Anderson does NOT suggest that a CHRISTIAN can be demon possessed, but rather that a CHRISTIAN can come under serious spiritual attack and can be hindered in their Christian walk by a demonic stronghold. There is a big difference there, and what he proposes IS biblically grounded.

Changed my life...

I read this book in 1997 and it changed my life. Obviously, the guy who gave this book a bad review has never experienced spiritual warfare and doesn't understand the doctrines of Christian Science and other cults or for that matter, the doctrines of Christianity. If he did have these understandings or experiences he would have found the book useful. Bondage Breaker is powerful, biblical and a must for anyone who wants to understand and take control of the spiritual realm around them in a responsible and biblical manner.GB

A close look at truth and spiritual warfare.

Neil Anderson's "matter of fact" approach is wonderful. I'm so impressed that the focus is on the use of TRUTH rather than POWER to fight the enemy. It is the truth that sets us free, and Anderson does a fantastic job of making sure biblical truth is emphasized rather than experiencial gimmicks.The spiritual battle we face is a battle for our mind. Bondage Breaker exposes Satan's tactics of using temptation, accusation and deception by equipping us with the truth that identifies those tactics-- rendering them ineffective.It is most important that Christians understand their identity in Christ; and the power, authority and freedom we have in knowing God's truth.
