The Agni Bona are an Agni sub-group now living in the north-east of C te d'Ivoire, in the departments of Koun-Fao and Tanda. This group is the result of a crossbreeding of heterogeneous groups from various horizons, but mainly from the Aowin. It is one of the few sub-groups of the Agni people that is not organized into a kingdom. They migrated to C te d'Ivoire for several reasons. In the course of their settlement process, the Bona clashed with other peoples, including the Bron-Gyaman. After a series of clashes, they were defeated and integrated into the Bron-Gyaman kingdom. This book aims to show the migration of the Agni Bona people and their integration into the Bron-Gyaman kingdom between 1721 and 1750.
