The Body's Resilience is a poetry book that embodies the voice of a speaker, a young adult, struggling with romantic relationships around her and as a result, she goes through an abundance of emotions. Once she is in the process of recovery, she is confronted by the realization of her detachment from all of the problems present in the world, due to being consumed in her own personal problems, and channels all of her energy and pain through advocacy. I hope that this book can speak to teenagers and young adults who might need reassurance in knowing that what they are feeling is more common than they may think and they are not alone. Sometimes, one might find strength in the voice of others, so that they can find the voice within themselves for self-betterment, and even make an impact in the world.
