From Genesis to Revelation, God's Word calls for Christians to be One, unified as believers in the body of Christ with Him as its head. Yet, while we are all placed into the spiritual body of Christ upon our acceptance of Christ as Lord, practically speaking, we are siloed within hundreds of denominations and hundreds of thousands of congregations. Oneness has yet to be achieved in any tangible, meaningful sense. As the world becomes increasingly troubled, violent, antisemitic, and anti-Christian, our ongoing divisions become greater liabilities for our faith. Moreover, our silos reduce our opportunities to shine the light of Christ on an ever-darkening world. A better path to oneness lies in the circulation of Christians within the body of Christ. Through circulation to churches beyond our own, we will deepen our love and understanding of fellow Believers, gain new perspectives, establish new relationships, and advance our own Christian journeys. We will help unify the body, collaborate on the issues facing our churches, families, and communities, and show a darkening world a new way to see our Savior and our faith. Importantly, circulation does not require us to give up our individual doctrines and beliefs, worship and denominational preferences, or church families. Indeed, keeping these is vital to the sustenance of God's truth. Nonetheless, circulation is not easy. It requires intentionality, humility, and God-ordained "uprightness," perhaps the single most difficult attribute to attain and maintain. But with uprightness in our hearts and Christ in the middle of our relationships, Christians will be able to show the lost a new, distinctly Christian way to think, speak, and act that will glorify God. How we manage our differences and the issues we all face will allow us to "evangelize by example" and reach those who otherwise would have never considered life with Christ.
