In the Fifth and longest installment of the series, we see just fragile John and Trey's trust when Tony comes in to destroy this. Trey learns that his secret that he's keeping from Mark will only last for so long as Mark starts to trail the case and ask the question of where Trey has been. We see Addison and Captain Palmer's unique roles in this story where Palmer and John's long time friendship is tested. A moment of transparency through John reveals some dark things in his past and Trey doesn't know to trust Tony or to trust John. Will Trey be able to fully trust John? Or will he just learn to never let that happen again?
