The Blue Orchids is a collection of poems that came out of being a teenager and feeling everything deeply. It's about the uncertain intermediate space where you're trying to figure out who you are, where you belong, and what the hell is going on inside your head. Like the delicate petals of a flower, this poetry collection unfolds in stages, blossoming, withering, and blossoming again. Each chapter represents a feeling. Dreams , Pretence , Innocence , Love , Mirror , Home , Melancholy and Metamorphosis . They represent a phase of transformation that each one of us has felt. The highs and lows. The pretending. The wondering. The aching. The growing. It's about feeling deeply, seeing yourself in the lines, and knowing that even when things fall apart, you can always bloom again. This collection is for anyone who has ever stared into their own reflection and seen either too much or not enough. For the ones who feel too deeply, love too hard, vanish and return, over and over again. These poems do not promise answers, they promise recognition. They promise familiarity. Its a hand reaching out in the dark, saying: I felt this too.
