Bloomsday is one of the largest 12k road races in the country, some years boasting near 50,000 participants. It is located in Spokane, Wash., and in 2026 will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Many runners boast they have run them all
However, perhaps there is suspicion a murder took place at this event in 1979. No one had ever heard anything about it until a book "The Bloomsday Murder" appears for sale.
