But Philip's life took a drastic turn after his time in the Army. With two traumatic experiences, he found himself drowning in alcohol addiction, an unhealthy diet, and in a toxic marriage. After a series of arrests, near-death experiences, and being shot, Philip looked towards his young son and found the motivation to turn his life around.
