The Black Stallion Revolts

The Black Stallion Revolts by Walter Farley is about a boy named Alec and his champion horse, the Black. They survive a plane crash but get serparated. Alec suffers from amnesia and doesn't remember his name or anything else. He is searched for for many months but when he is not found, they give up the search. Alec ends up at a ranch in Arizonia and him and the Black get reunited. They go and race and beat the best horse in the country, and Alec finally remembers everything. He gets back with his family and him and the Black live happily ever after. For people who like horses and adventure, this book is an ideal choice.

Black Stallion Revolts

When famous jockey, Alec Ramsey, and his famous horse, Black, go down in a plane in Wyoming, all that can be done is to send out search parties. They are never found, because Alec had opened the plane door so it would not become stuck when they crashed, and is torn from the plane by the wind. After the plane crashes, the Black runs off into the wilderness. Alec wakes up to find that he can not remember a thing, even his own name. A long journey brings him to a small out of the way town in Arizona. He gets a job on a ranch there. Eventually, he and the Black meet again, but Alec still can't remember. Only when he is forced to race the Black does he remember who he is. The story is one that you can easily get into, and the book is impossible to put down.

Whatever Farley does, he's good at it

Whoa- that book kept me on the edge of my seat. Only one thing remained in your mind- would Alec remember who he was before it was too late? My English teacher said that its good for writers to keep their readers reading, and, believe me, Walter Farley sure mastered that in this tale of suspense. If you ever happen to stumble upon this book in some old library or something, pick it up. It's one of my utmost favorites in the classical Black Stallion series, and I've read them all.

Exciting and fascinating

This is one of my all-time favourite books ever. The Black Stallion books in general are extremely suspenseful and keep you on the edge of your seat, but this one is the most exciting of them all. The intriguing plot and suspenseful moments make it the perfect package. Alec's amnesia makes it all the more interesting, as if the protagonist himself has no clue what he's doing, the reader will be even more perplexed. A wonderful, amazing story wih the most action-packed plot ever.

The Black attacks Satan! Can a trip away help?

During the night, at Hopefull Farms, the Black escapes from his paddock and attacks his son, Satan. Henry knows that the stallion does not like being couped up. He sends Alec and the Black to a place where they can run free. But on the way, the plane must make an emergancy landing for the Black get colic by drinking cold water. Alec must parachute out of the plane where he forgets who he is and where he is as he is taken in by a local rancher who owns some horses who is being harrassed by some rogue stallion, who turns out to be the Black. Alec, calling himself Mac, is on patrol alone with the herd aims a rifle at the Black's head. He doesn't remember that he owns that black stallion, he climbs onto his back and rides the black stallion, believing that he is a wild, rogue stallion. The ranch owner brags that his horse(the Black) can beat the another ranch owner's horse in a match race. Can the Black win the race with Alec on his back?
