The Black Scar

Black Scar is a fiction work based on the partition of India about an aged man Harshvardhan who had witnessed the largest human migration in human history as being a part of it.

The 1947 partition of India into India and Pakistan remains a nightmare and the defining event of the twentieth century and Harshvardhan narrates his past taking the incident across 1499 when Vasco da Gama discovered the sea route for the trade of spices paving way for other powers to invade the Sub continent.

Its was 1600 when the first ship full of white monsters landed at the Surat port for the trade of spices opium silk and cotton.

That was the defining moment as no one ever thought that the men arrived will conquer the subcontinent and rule for almost around 350 years.

Divide and Rule is what made them successful and when they wanted to exit it was the same policy paved the way yes it was Divide and Exit.

They were aware of the consequences but still they sowed the seed of two nation theory and they were successful in dividing supported by some top politicians.

Harshvardhan was just 14 years unaware he was way back home with his best friend Sarfaraz and they were the minority of that village and the next moment they were forced to leave the village as they had to cross the other side of the border India.
