romantic page turner

I thought this book by "Connie Mason" was truly a page turner. The characters of this book truly draw you in from start to finish. I read this entire book inside of one day. Very steamy and romantic love screens. If you are a true romantic this book is definitely a good read for you......."Connie Mason" has done it again.

Now here is an exciting story!

Drake was ten years old when his mother died. He was living with his Granny when his father, a knight, came to fetch him to Eyre. Granny had told Drake his parents had legally wed before his birth and would give him the proof when the time was right. But his father had come to take him to Eyre where Drake's younger, half-brother, Waldo, was named as the legitimate heir. Drake grew up labeled a bastard. He vowed to someday be a knight, despite his label.Raven had loved Drake ever since she reached puberty. But Drake only had eyes for her sister, Daria. Daria betrays his love for her, but Raven is thought to blame. For several more reasons (which I cannot divulge or it would ruin the story for you. Sorry.) Drake is banished. He becomes the King's champion and once he has land and title, he finds the chance for a bit of revenge against Waldo An exciting story of honor, courage, and love as only Connie Mason can write! She will get many new fans with this one! I foresee many awards! Very highly recommended reading!

Connie Mason NEVER Disappoints!

Betrayed by the sister of the woman he loved, Drake has spent years hardening his heart against women like Raven of Chirk. But now, known far and wide as The Black Knight, Drake has returned to Castle Chirk to compete in a tournament. Little did he know the tournament was in honor of the impending wedding of Raven and Drake's half-brother, Waldo.Still burning from Raven's childhood betrayal, Drake refuses to help Raven escape her unwanted marriage to Waldo. But Drake's revenge upon Waldo puts him and Raven on the run together. As the danger grows, so too does their passion. Can Drake risk his heart to the woman who betrayed him all those years ago? How could Drake possibly have a future with Raven when she is legally wed to another man? And will Drake and Raven live long enough to see the face of their unborn child?Connie Mason's "The Black Knight" is one terrific read! Her characters are richly drawn with real motivations and weaknesses and her writing is captivating. "The Black Knight" is worth staying up all night to read! One for the keeper shelf.

OUTSTANDING

I have read many of Mason's works but she has astonded me with Knight. Her characters evoke the emotions I am sure that she intended - hate, disgust, love, kinship, and of course lust. She has introduced us to a real varied cast to be sure and they equally do their part to enhance this outstanding tale. I know Ms. Mason seems to favor Western settings but her medievals are some of her most imaginative and remarkable endeavors. I do so hope she will pick up where she left off and write something for Sir John or Sir Richard. I highly recommend this novel.

This book is the Greatest ever!

wow, I read this book in record speed. I was so sad when it ended. Connie is an excellent writer. I have read most of her books, and Connie you out did yourself. Thanks. it was awsome. everyone longs for the underdog to win, and win he did.
