Now THIS is the way you write an erotic novel. Plenty of hot, steamy, sultry, dirty, toe-curling, back-arching, sex! Oh yeah... there is actually a story here too. I need something to pull me from sex scene to the sex scene and this book had it! Add this one to your "to read" list for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, .....

Captivating, Lustful and ....Sequel please!

Not only did I sweat and scream while reading this book,the read was a "ride" I hadn't experience in some time: great intensity, classy-lustfulness (if theres ever such a thing)and drop-dead suspense... It was soooo captivating that I found myself yelling-out-loud with estacy and delight! I'm convinced there's a little Ariel in most bold and shameless women. And only when one meets his or her true "soul mate" will they ever know what TRUE LOVE...REAL LUST is ------ RIGHT?

A friend asked if I knew anything about this book or author. Never heard of her but I immediately ordered it on line. When it arrived,(at work), I opened it and figured I'll just read the prologue - well I ended up reading six chapters. Ariel Vaughn, a product of foster care, had some serious issues with abondment. Nevertheless, she grew up to be a very successful attorney and partner in a law firm. She had everything including a judge for her boyfirend, who was on the brink of being nominated for a seat on the supreme court. Ariel was feeling neglected. When Preston, the Judge, backed out of a dinner engagment, it was a high priced escort who introduced her to "The Black Door" "The Black Door" was an exclusive women's only club where everything was everything". Guest wore masks to protect their identity. Ariel goes to the club out of curiosity but she gets her world "ROCKED" like never before. Until her fantasy crashed with her reality. All I can say is "This book is WORTHY". The erotic scenes were CLASSY -not dirty like I have seen other authors write. THERE WAS A PLOT.(That's very important) Not just a bunch of sex. The writing was excellent - not a lot of over used profanity or over indulged sex scenes. The ending was a shocker. I was not prepared for the surprise twist even though I guessed a few of the secret identities. My vote - SEQUAL!!! I look forward to reading more from VELVET.... BRAVO!! Peace and Blessings!!
