“Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear and it shows them pearly white.” Songwriters: Bertolt Bre

This movie would have been ok if it was one of the Sharknado series or even “Sharknado”(2013). But the sark takes last place after this Hallmark love story.
The movie is one big warning that mankind is destroying the planetary resources for its own nefarious gain. It serves them right if some evil Black Demon takes revenge.
Paul Sturges (Josh Lucas), who has a problem sticking to speaking English, works for the unscrupulous oil company. He hauls his family down to Mexico to check out the safety of an off-the-shelf rig.
Nothing is what it seems as we find out someone falsified the safety reports, and that ain’t all.
The only character I cared about in the movie was the ferocious dog. If it sticks to the formula, he may become Shark-chow. O.K. Megalodon-chow.
Will Paul get away at the last minute and reconcile with his family or is he destined to see shark innards? Do we really care?
Let us hope that there is no sequel.
