A winning story

Sarah is invited to Lucy's birthday party. Sarah enthusiastically joins in the birthday games with the hope of winning one of the prizes. However, as hard as Sarah tries, she just cannot seem to win any of the games. As the games continue, Sarah's attitude sours towards the winners, the prizes and the whole party. Eventually Sarah learns the lesson of what it means to win and the need for thanks as part of winning. The illustrations are very festive. This is a great little story for all ages.
