The Birds of Michigan is a major publishing event. It is the first popular, comprehensive survey of Michigan's birds in over forty years. Some of the state's leading ornithologist-naturalists have provided species accounts for more than 400 birds seen in the state. All of the authors incorporate field observations from Michigan.
