Book 3 sees Fiona and Monty's relationship change. In part for the better, but Monty, once again tries to control Fiona's life. she bought a motorbike, and he didn't want her using it. A fight ensued, but in the end Monty made a gesture that let Fiona know he was sorry and understood, and all was forgiven. It wasn't forgotten though.
Fiona and her friend and colleague, Anne, want to start their own business. They have ideas, but no money, so start saving for this enterprise.
Monty proposes and Fiona accepts, but this engagement brings a whole new set of problems.
