In book 2 Fiona and Monty's relationship grows. He is perfect, or almost. There are a couple of incidents that leave Fiona a few doubts that he is trying to control her life, but she puts these aside. He is so good and thoughtful to her in other ways, these do not seem that important, yet.
Fiona goes to his house, where finally their relationship goes to the next level, so to speak. Actually it goes all the way and she spends the night with him.
