The Biggest Butterfly in the Whole Wide World

Johnny is bullied at school but finds hope in the shape of his deceased dad who appears to him as a butterfly who gradually grows bigger the more Johnny is tormented. His dad and Johnny's best friend, Katie, help him to overcome his fears and ultimately, the bully. Johnny stands up to the bully and, during a scuffle, Johnny is thrown into a fast flowing river. Mrs. Harrison, (Johnny's teacher) spots Johnny struggling in the water and almost drowning. She finds a fisherman in his boat who saves Johnny. Bully Jones (Owen) redeems himself and rescues Johnny and Katie when they are kidnapped by two thugs who try to use Johnny (and his giant butterfly) to rob the local bank. A standoff between the kidnappers and the police ends with the Biggest Butterfly in the Whole Wide World saving Bully Jones and reuniting Johnny and Katie with their parents.
