Good info for all ages--only objection is you have to check item details to learn it is a children's

This is an excellent explanation of seismic processes as specifically relates to the Pacific Northwest, though it includes an overview of plate tectonics applicable anywhere in the globe. There is also a decent chapter on basic disaster preparedness.
