Cute illustrations

This is a nice book to read with toddlers. Each page asks a question and you lift the flap up to find the answer. The first times through the book you may find yourself having to explain some unfamiliar things to a smaller toddler or to a child with less exposure to the world. For instance the first question is "Who can you find in the jungle?" and you lift the flap and see monkeys. You may find yourself explaining what a jungle is, a rainforest, a coral reef, and the like. As your child becomes more familiar with the book they will experience that sense of anticipation when you ask the question as to who or what is under the flap! The illustrations are colorful and well done. They most likely will appeal to a child on several levels.
