Bo Robinson is the star of the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings High School football team and a five star recruit to the University of Florida. Everyone, himself included, expects the NFL to be Bo's next stop after the university. His future seems bright. But the Moss brothers at rival Dixon County High School in Crackertown have other ideas. Their association with an ex-con from Chicago has the potential to complicate the lives of all four boys. Bo's best friend Todd, a future Naval Academy graduate and Navy pilot, seems to be on a fast track as well. Along with their former teammate, game warden Jiggy, and Bo's girlfriend, Cherelle, they enjoy all the fishing, hunting, and camping North Central Florida and the Big Bend have to offer. But their love of wild Florida leads them on a collision course with poachers, both on the gridiron and off. Will the ride-a-longs with Jiggy be just more adventure for the three friends, or will they result in an outcome more sinister?
