Decent strum chords for many hard-to-find songs

I bought this book for my daughter to learn accompaniment for a hard-to-find song she likes to sing, so keep in mind I'm passing along second-hand feedback (disclaimer). I couldn't find sheet-music anywhere, so this book was the only option we had. My daughter was very happy to get it, though she would have been happier with the full score. She liked the way each song has a little diagram at the top not only saying what chords are used, but also showing a little finger layout chart (she's a low-intermediate player). She quickly memorized the song and chords, though she complained they were a bit simplistic compared to the full-score version sang by the original band and she quickly added a few "frills" of her own to dress it up. After her little concert, she went on to memorize several more songs out of this book. Overall, this book is what it is, an affordable way for a recreational guitarist to learn the words and chords to a bunch of hard-to-find, popular rock songs at a very low price. For the pittance it cost me for this book versus the full scores, I am quite pleased. Although I don't play myself, I get to hum along to the dozen-or-so songs she's taken a liking to and memorized out of the 40+ songs in this book. If you are an advanced guitarist or looking for a book that has intricate long-solos, I suggest you look elsewhere (and pay considerably more) for the full score. On the other hand, if you want a cheap and simple way to learn a bunch of sing-along songs for your next party or camping trip, this book is definitely worth the price.
