Some parts are excellent, some may be out dated

I especially liked the sections on Slam bidding (judgment not conventions) and visualization. You are given a bidding sequence and 5 hands and have to pick the hand that best matches. Some are subtle, and it will make you think. Nice bonus chapter comparing 4 and 5 card majors Some sequences are obsolete if using 2/1. I also think the chapters on Overcalls and Doubles may be out of date. The book is worth reading. Even if you don't agree with everything, it will make you think, and may clarify some fundamentals you were unsure of. Knowing your fundamentals is far more important than learning a few new conventions.
