Nobody ever checks the Bible. The seven days of creation are explained in Babylonian texts, but nobody bothers to look. We have the source material for the creation account, but scholars don't bother to check: they prefer to use imaginary source documents instead (the pretend "J" and "E" sources). There are historical dates in Genesis chapter 5, but nobody checks them against archaeology. We have the original story of Abraham, written in his homeland when he left, but Bible scholars don't bother to read it. The entire Bible is like that: nobody ever checks most of what it says. So this book fact checks the Bible. Here are some of the discoveries: The Bible is reliable history. It is not supernatural. Jesus was a ChrEstos (servant), not a ChrIstos (in the later sense of the word: a master). The Bible hates cities. Cities are great beasts with iron teeth: we might call them robots. The Bible is the story of our 12,000-year war against these robots. Moses had a simple solution to defeat the robots: replace all taxes with Georgist ground rent. Some other interesting details: Abraham was Cronus, father of Zeus. The Pharaoh who fought against Moses was an Israelite. Jesus' entire ministry lasted just two months, and what he said was written down at the time. Marcion wrote the letters of Paul, a hundred years after Jesus died. Christianity was originally a business club. Most of the prophecies have already come true. And there's much more. This will all sound crazy. But everything is backed up by footnotes. And almost every page has illustrations or maps, so it should be easy to follow. Test the claims for yourself.
