I know the heart of this man

I know the heart of this man and it tends always to God. I have been married to Larry Vaughn for forty years and know exactly what went into this book. Every verse, every thought and hope he shared with only two people. God and me. In that order. Read this book and you will find the love he has for God and the passion to teach people how to love and be loved by our Father. Larry studies the Word and then talks his thoughts over with God. At this point he does probably the most spiritual thing he ever does. He waits and he listens. Nothing is in these pages that Larry did not discuss with the Father. That is why it is so helpful. It says only what God says in a way to make us understand. God has blessed Larry with the gift of teaching and He has blessed me with a Godly and loving husband.

The Bible believer's Handbook is an excellent resource!!!!!!!

The Bible Believer's Handbook is an excellent resource to help equip the saints for the great commission. What Larry Vaughn does is lay out the scriptures into categories along with some Bible solid commentary, which helps to explain the text. The Bible Believer's Handbook is divided up into five parts; The Things of God, The Things God expects You To Do, Good Things, Evil things and Life's Losers. And in each is every conceivable category and question you may have. For example if you want to look up Lust of the Eye you can find it in part 4, page 298. And if you want to know about the Will Of God, you an find that in Part 1 page 74 and on and on. The Bible Believer's Handbook is a very good Bible companion and I highly recommend it.

The Bible Believer's Handbook (A MUST!)

This book was wonderful to read. Its really clear and enjoyable. Larry Vaughn explains the quotes very neatly and easy for you to understand. I had a great time reading this book. I hope you do too!

Bible Study 101

(Mark 8:36) "The Bible Believer's Handbook" is an excellent guide for new Christians who are just beginning to read the Bible. This is also a good book for anyone who wants to find out if they are living their life according to biblical principles. Larry Vaughn has the heart of a teacher and explains all the Bible verses presented in each chapter. You can use this book as a devotional book by reading one section at a time, perhaps one subject a day. Some of the subjects discussed include: Eternal Life, Heaven, Temptation, Forgiveness of Sin, The Kingdom of God, Courage, Patience, Grace, Salvation, Wealth, Envy and Hatred. Each topic is explained in detail and has many relevant Bible verses for consideration. As you read this book you may find yourself becoming aware of areas in your life that need work. For example if you have a problem with anger there are verses explaining why you should try to live more peacefully. I was especially pleased that all the verses come from the King James Version of the Bible. If you want to study the Bible in more detail then I can recommend this book to you. The Bible Believer's Handbook, by Larry Vaughn, teaches the Bible in a way that the ordinary person can understand. Sometimes the Bible can seem confusing and mysterious, filled as it is with "ideas that originated in the mind of God." This book provides practical explanations of Bible verses collected into topics and centering around such subjects as the things of God, the good and evil things you will find in this life, what God actually expects from you and the consequences of doing things the world's way. Vaughn's narrative voice is that of a knowledgeable friend or a loving father. Actually, it was for his own children that he originally wrote the book. I found it easy to understand and consistent all the way through. This is not a book you've seen before. It is more than a collection of memorable bible verses or a listing of God's promises. It teaches the Bible and how to use it the way it was once used, as a handbook for life. I highly reccommend it for personal study and as a gift for anyone that you care about.
