His career began in June, 1969 and he retired in July, 1998 29+ years, although he was able to "buy back" much of his reserve deputy time. This portion of his life story ends at his retirement, although there was much more relating to the death experience involving his wife of 34+ years a short time after retirement. That will be a subject of his next book as he continues to hear from Holy Spirit and does what he believes God asks him.
