Makes Party Planning Simple and Fun! Great Resource with Checklists Included.

This book is not only a must have resource guide to a successful party it was an enjoyable and often hillarious journey of a man who obviously knows his topic. The quality of this book with it's thick pages and glossy photos would sit great on any coffee table. In addition to all the details provided in the book thebestpartyever site has downloadable music playlists for different themed parties, a grocery shopping list, a liquor shopping list and a party planning timeline calculator. Even a caveman could throw a great party with this book.

Excellent Party Planning Advice and Funny Too!

The author wrote a meticulously detailed book on planning a large party. Not only did he lay out the planning in an easy to follow, step by step manner, he did it with great humor and added excellent color photos. This book also serves well as a "coffee table" book. People seem to like to pick it up and browse through it because it's easy to read, has great pictures and is pretty damned funny!

Great guide, great read!

I already knew Mark threw the best parties ever. But after reading his book from cover-to-cover, I now know that he's a pretty dang good author as well. The book is like a recipe for a great house party, and it is chock full of fun tidbits and hilarious anecdotes, so you can read it just for fun, as well. I highly recommend the book if you want to throw a huge party without the worries, or even if you just want to know what that experience is like.

In my parties of the past, I spent the whole time in the kitchen or running around looking for an item that was forgotten (wine opener, ice bucket, TP, special CD, etc). This book has changed all of that. Everything is in place the day before the party and even gives me time for a little nap that afternoon. Wow!!! This book is worth it's weight in gold.
