Putting this project together, our First cookbook, we scrutinized hundreds of recipes from our personal collections, choosing only award winners and family favorites, all having been inspired by the avors we gathered along our individual and shared journeys. These recipes were created from our families' traditional dishes of New England and The South, the diverse cuisines we discovered during our decades in California and the unique ingredients we now work with in Alaska.
