Enjoyable Reading

When I first decided to purchase "The Benefactor" I was not sure what to expect from this unknown writer. To my pleasant surprise as soon as I opened the first page I knew I was in for a good treat. It is an easy book to read. I loved the twist and turns that the main character goes through. Being a NY I enjoyed reading about the restaurants and neighborhoods that plays a part in Kate's life. You can tell that the author did a lot of research and had much knowledge in the things she wrote about. I did not want this book to end. I hope Margaret Reyes Dempsey comes out with another book real soon, I will be checking for more books. "The Benefactor" is a winner and I highly recommend it.

A Thrilling Page Turner

This is not your typical "romance" novel. Yes, there is the pretty girl/handsome guy sexual tension, but this story offers a lot more. The style of writing and vivid descriptions keep your imagination going. And, there are a few plot twists that you don't see coming! It's a fast read because you will not want to stop reading until you have finished. And, you will find yourself thinking about the story and the characters for days afterward. It's an imaginative, compelling story.

Reading For Enjoyment

In between non-fiction American History and biographies I like to read novels just for the enjoyment. If you like to read for fun then The Benefactor is for you. Margaret Reyes Dempsey has woven a story that contains mystery, intrigue, romance, danger, and sex in a quick reading novel that kept me guessing till the end. Can't wait for Margaret's next book.

The Benefactor

I justed finished the book and so did my husband. It was such a good book and very quick reading, keeping your interest at all times. I highly recommend it and think most people would enjoy the suspense and romance. Margaret Reyes Dempsey is an excellent writer. Thanks for a good book.

A Great Book for Open Discussions!

I just finished The Benefactor and couldn't put it down. The Benefactor is a gripping romantic suspense novel with many twists and turns. It is a heartfelt story which keeps you guessing. The final outcome was quite exciting and thought provoking! There is much more to this novel than your typical romance novel. It is a great Book Club read which will lead to some serious moral debates. I look forward to more from this debut author!
