A creature only a mother could love.

Yep, another run-of-the-mill creature feature. Only this time it has a lot, yes, a lot of ‘B' movie action and quite creepy times. Things jumping out of hidden places. It may even have the obligatory cat with immediate creepy action noise. The J-a-p-a-n-e-s-e do not have an exclusive on irradiated creatures. O.K. I forgot about “Them!” (1954). However, we have here all the major stars of the time, Martin Landau (1928-2017), Ruth Buzzi (1936-2025), José Ferrer (1912-1992), and many others. One major player is Kinky Friedman (1944-2024), the almost-Governor of Texas. The movie seems like it was made for a drive-in theater. And if you're a prude, be aware that many scenes feature women showing their frontal lobes.
