The year was 1943, in Riverside, Georgia. Where everyone would gather at The Beehive Cafe. It was the place to go for the best tasting food in the south. Everything was made with fresh honey. Izzy was a spunky ten year old girl, who's humor and passion for adventure could get her into trouble. Izzy's pa and ma have owned The Beehive Cafe for many years now. Her pa would retrieve the honey daily for the cafe. It's been two years since WW11 begun. Many men had already been sent off to war. Izzy fears her pa would be next. Izzy;s mind started reeling who's going to take care of Ma and me if Pa goes to war? What if Pa doesn't come back? Who's going to retrieve the honey for the cafe daily? Izzy starts thinking could I retrieve the honey? She shakes her head and prays she'll never have to.
