A tailor gets no sleep until he finds a comfortable bed for a hudgin that has come to live with him. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I recently heard a very gifted children's librarian from LAPL do a flannel board retelling of this story; it was delightful! The story lends itself to three distinct voices, the wise woman, the tailor, and the "hudgin", a mysterious creature we never really see. The illustrations from the book are okay, but the story lends itself to relatively simple flannel shapes (NOT lifted from the book), or to a very animated oral retelling-this is a sweet one, librarians! Get it while you can!
