The winter holidays are a time for visiting family and friends and the bear family is lucky to have them all over the world. But with so many people to visit, how can the bear family get to see everyone? The solution is simple: they travel around the world in their balloon house.
Bear Family visits friends from all over the world at Christmas time

It is November and the brown Bear family wonders where they should spend their Christmas. Pappa, Mama, Buddy, Theo, Jo-Jo and Cher bear all have their own ideas of friends they should visit. Why visit one family when we can visit them all! And off they go with a huge balloon tied to their home which reminds me of the movie Up. They visit their friends the Mr. & Mrs. White (polar bears) via a rope ladder. They bake cookies inside an igloo and father bear is carving an ice Christmas tree. Next the family is off to sunny Peru to visit their friends the Spectacled Bears. On to Australia where an emu is decorated up like a Christmas tree and there is a father Christmas Koala riding on top of a kangaroo and the Koala family. In Sri Lanka they visit their friends the Sun Bear family and have tea. In China they visit their friends the Panda family where grandpa panda is coming on a boat next to a home in a bamboo forest. And their last visit was with Uncle & Auntie Teddy and their cousins and that is where Santa Bear finds them and gives them all gifts. They gave Santa bear some milk and cookies and then lead him over to a globe of all the places they had been. This is a very cute bear story, I do love the illustrations that Kestutis Kasparavicius drew. They certainly do make the story. I was surprise that Chinese New Year was not shown as it normally is.... but the book is still just as sweet! Nice addition to your Christmas books to share each year.
