This book of survival has some fishing stories, some romance, lots of things that go BOOM, and a group of interesting and diverse characters who are all just trying to survive when the United States is attacked. He builds a pack of Sheepdogs to protect the residents against the Wolves, who are constantly trying to conquer this seemingly unprotected community.
