This book is not so much a memoir as a guidebook intended to accompany and encourage those who have been newly diagnosed with cancer. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of 21 and while it was initially a severe shock, going through a battle with cancer changed me in ways that I never could have imagined. We all face moments in our lives that force us to reach our full potential, and I believe that this battle with cancer will do just that. I went into my own battle as a sensitive and fragile girl and came out as a strong and determined warrior.
