The Battle for Nigeria

Nigeria is a hard country. It is also a spiritual cornerstone for sub-Saharan Africa. For revival to successfully sweep across Africa, Nigeria must be won for the Lord. It will not be easy. Satan knows that Scripture points to the greatest revival of all time just before the Day of the Lord and he must stop it here. He has established a fortress of darkness in Nigeria because he knows how key this country is to the rest of the continent.
It is not the Muslim presence in northern Nigeria that is the most dangerous to revival - it is the church. Satan's plan is to infiltrate the church with a worldly doctrine of prosperity, blessings, and wealth to turn the hearts of Christians. He is using the same tactics as Balaam used and as the serpent used with Eve, to turn the hearts of the people.
The powers of darkness are strong here, but so are those Christians who have taken a stand to fight. We have planted the seeds of revival and held up the torch of freedom. It is now up to the warriors on the ground to take the battle to the enemy and win the victory.
Revival is coming - that is for sure - and here is where the battle begins.
