This book teaches the basics of preaching and how to preach the Gospel. It is a collection of ideas from different preachers and theologians who had been veteran preachers themselves. There is no doubt that if God calls someone like Samuel from the Old Testament to preach His Word, He prepares and trains the servant how to preach. However, it cannot be ignored the fact that God uses instrument to accomplish His goals. A classic example of this is the case of Samuel, God prepared the Prophet Eli to educate him as an apprentice. As a result, Hannah, Samuel's mother, entrusted her son to be trained by Eli for many years until he graduated from the preacher's training institute and was ripe for God's service. Hence, this book can be used as help for him to learn to improve how to preach, or it can be utilized as a textbook in Homiletics for God's called preacher. In the last chapter of this book, one can find the description of the book of the Epistle to the Romans as the purest Gospel. Martin Luther, the distinguished Protestant Reformer, describes the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Romans as the purest Gospel. Thus, he wrote a commentary on Paul's epistle to the Romans called, Commentary on Romans which is summarized in this book.
