The Ballenger Seeds

Johnny Ballenger doesn't feel like a loser even though he has lost his high school sweetheart, his parents, the family farm, his restored hot-rod and recently, his job. He heads home planning to start a new life. Stranded aliens interrupt his plans to start over, and he ends up becoming a prisoner. His abductors make a pet out of him and teach him the ropes of galactic trading. His wize-guy remarks anger a client and he finds himself a prisoner of a strange police force. They drop him on a strange world along with a group of other humans. Their attempts to survive and build a new life are interrupted when the aliens return. Forced to leave his new world, Johnny gets angry and decides to start playing rough.
