Safe, Fun, and Affordable: Perfect Gift

Christmas shopping is a particular challenge in my life. This book is a solution to this year's woes. It is light-hearted, funny, easy-to-read, and truly relaxing. It can be read in any order, front to back, back to front, or just totally at random. You can put it down and not be confused about characters or plots. Keep it in your car and read when caught in a traffic it jam. It will lighten your frantic load.

Going Deeper With Captain Dennis

Every once in a while you find a special book that opens up the power of our imaginations and exposes a latent passion for a deeper and more meaningful existence on planet earth. Dennis Wyatt has written such a book. This series of letters from Wyatt's adventures offers vignettes of a world few of us will ever know: a world of beauty, simplicity and friendship. In the tradition of Steinbeck's "Travels With Charlie" and Woody Guthrie's "Bound for Glory", Captain Dennis explores the nooks and crannies of life by hopping off the well trodden paths and finding his own way. His prose is witty, reflective and electrified with a brash and uncompromisingly honest sense of humor. This book is a true gem.

Hysterical adventure

I wholeheartedly recommend this book. "Bald Man" is written in a format we are all familiar with, letters. This collection of letters makes you feel like one of Dennis's friends getting your monthly installment. This is an easy reading book that makes you laugh out loud, and want to keep reading.

To Know Him Is To Love Him?

Dennis has given to words what previously only his facial contorsions could say. Having know Dennis personally, although certainly not as well as many others, and having known many of the characters in his book, I was in my height of glory reading his work. Two of the charcters in the book, in real life named Chris and Julie are my best male and female friends, respectively. Dennis' travels and stories with these two is very special to me. This book was my nightly reading. It stayed on my night stand and made for a great day's conclusion to visit the antics of this man and his travels. It occurs to me that he probably is not totally without fault given his marital history. Far be it from Dennis to be sarcastic to a woman wanting to discuss substance. You go brother! I want to go on record as having been an employer of Dennis and was ommitted from even a sentence of mention. But then again, when one has had nearly a thousand jobs, it is tough to list them all. I did however, send him on a great mail run through the hills of TN, VA, KY, and WV and gave him my AMEX card as well. There had to be a story there. The book was fanastic as it filled in for me, the many years of this man's travels before and after we met. Dennis is one of the most gifted, intelligent, and peculiar individuals I have ever met. His lighthearted approach to so many aspects of life and his ability to articulate ideals in speech and now in printed words, keeps all involved interested, to say the least. So, to Dennis, a thank you for your efforts and as they the saying goes, keep your day job, which for Dennis seems to be no small task!
