The Bag Lady

In a case of mistaken identity, a caring bag lady is whisked from the D.C. Metro into a world of banquets and butlers, mansions and, as fate would have it, missions for the CIA. Our hero, Ellie, knows that there has been a mistake, but she sees no harm in doing a good job and enjoying her fancy new life while it lasts. Told she would be posing as the rich widow Lady Cavendish, Ellie is set up in a mansion in the Washington D.C. area, complete with a new wardrobe, loyal servants and "old" friends. She is to be the perfect hostess of a week-long house party and subsequent yachting weekend. A money launderer is on the loose and the CIA is attempting to track him or her down by presenting the perfect target: a kind old English lady who happens to have a safe full of marked bills. What Ellie lacks in CIA training, she makes up for in enthusiasm, optimism and luck. Her loving nature quickly gains her many friends, including the planted acquaintances of the real Lady Cavendish, her house guests and even a wannabe superhero. Knowing that eventually she will be found out and she'll have to return to the streets, she is determined to make the most of her time and be as helpful as possible, and in some cases she even surprises herself. Will our hero thwart the bad guys before she is found out? What would her new friends think if they knew who she really was? Whatever happened to the real Agent Ellie? Only time will tell as our hero stumbles her way through the posh life with a little help from unexpected places.
