The Bad Luck Baby We are reading this book together...My Husband and I. We do not want to put it down. Being a Woman who was brought up in the United States I cannot imagine what Sun went through. I too was in an abusive relationship, but it seems peaceful compared to Her life struggles. I had a loving Dad...loving family...a jobs...food...shelter. As I write this we are a little over half way, and I want to savor every word I read. Sun brings SonShine into any room she enters. I have heard her Teach and I wish you could too. Read this lovely book and be Blessed!

Having been blessed to hear part of Sun Fannin's testimony some years ago at Christ Church in Montclair, NJ, she left me with a lasting impression. I finally purchased and read this book and appreciate the freedom I gain in knowing that the past does not have to dictate an unfortunate future. From cover to cover I could walk with the author and experience change in my own life through further understanding God's ability. Love the book and the author and contributors.

This is the story of Sun Fannin, a Korean woman, who was rejected as a baby because she was born after the death of her father. The early part of the story is about life in South Korea during the war. The story goes on to show how Sun triumphed over her past rejection and went onward. Sun now co-pastors a church, along with her husband, outside of Indianapolis, IN. She has a powerful ministry to people of Asian descent, as well as to those who were born here in the United States. This story is inspiring and uplifting. It highlights victory rather than Sun's terrible past.
