What an IDEA - The Bachelor Tax

A fun read about 1882 town that had a bachelor tax to encourage men to marry. A rancher Gabriel Tanner only considered marriage to avoid the tax. Rosemary believed in the dreams of many women, family and home is what you strive for. An enjoyable story!

The Bachelor Tax

This was a very humurous idea for the story. Rosemary and Gabe are the H/H of the story. Gabe trys to get out of paying the Bachelor Tax, by proposing to someone, namely Rosemary. He's sure she will turn him down flat. Only it backfires on him and he ends up with the most unusal ready-made family this side of the Mississippi.
