A Blissful Book!

What a treat! I have been up early every morning since my Awe-manac arrived to indulge in creativity before breakfast, and set a positive and uplifting tone for my day. The variety of prompts and exercises each day give me a chance to play with something familiar(like collage/mixed media), or maybe with something that stretches my creative wings(me? write poetry?, why not?!). I also enjoy the quotes, humor, and playfulness of the illustrations. I can envision this becoming one of my "well-loved" books, a bit battered from lots of use, always nearby and available for another creative adventure.

THE AWE-MANAC delivers on the promise of its name: 459 pages created with a daily dose of awe,delight, & wonder.I love this book.The whimsical & strikingly colorful illustrations are a high to see. Daily amusing inspirations, useful suggestions & exercises such as "Toasts of the Day, Aha-phrodisiacs, Daily Soul Vitamins, & my favorite--Dose of Mirth," puts more fun & play into creativity than anything I have seen (although Jill's previous Muse book was great fun too). As an expert in enjoyment of, & engagement & meaning in life,I heartily recommend this daily companion to not only excite your creative gene but to uplift the spirit & upgrade your quality of life.
