Enlightening Truth

Enlightening truth flows through this book, painting a picture of itself and giving all who read it the opportunity to reflect upon that truth. THE AWAKENING STONE truly is a mastery of story telling. It is also is a teaching woven through a beautiful story, and it is a view into Master Maticintin prior to Her becoming. Right now what strikes me is the latter. Seeing one who is awakening, who knows the truth in such an intimate way, that it flows out of her in the form of a story. It is a story not unlike INITIATION by Sharon Shier, as it does reveal one's path to awakening, the grandeur and the struggles encountered along the way. While this is a work of fiction, it is fiction that reveals layers upon layers of reality - the underlying Truth of life. At this moment I am finding THE AWAKENING STONE to be a doorway to my Teacher as a human being, a human being who has become a powerful Master. Every time this book is read you will (just as I do) touch upon a new level of expanded awareness within yourself.

A Page Turner

My first reading of this book was a delightful, "can't put it down" adventure into mystery and suspense. The second reading was a more serious and seeking exploration into the spiritual truths that are the foundation of this story. So, if you are looking for adventure and you love a mystery along with the telling of a unique love story ... read it! And, if you are looking to explore and expand your spiritual awareness .....read it!

What a great book!!! Not only is it an exciting adventure story, but it is also full of spiritual principles; so it is interesting on many levels, as you follow the threads of the Dharma throughout the story.

Adventure and journey through inner dimensions.

As I read this book I saw great spiritual teachings revealed in the process of an odyssey into the worlds of many unseen dimensions. Yet as the story unfolds, I am amazed to see that the dimensions that Detra masters in her journey are internal dimensions, ones that are very familiar to me as well.

A fascinating spiritual exploration and journey.

At first, I got the impression that I was going to have a light and entertaining story to read. What a surprise it turned out to be! It was entertaining in the sense that the main charactor's experiences on her spiritual adventures were fascinating and exhilarating, but I soon found myself emersed in the deep and deeper meaning of her insights and realizations. As she learned, I also learned. It is a beautiful story filled with spiritual teachings and lessons. Anyone who is a true student of spirituality will enjoy this book and learn from it.
