Providing a message of acceptance, The Autism in Me reminds us that being autistic isn't a burden or setback; it is a blessing and a superpower worthy of embracing.
About the Author
Derricka Bell is a loving mother of an autistic child. Her biggest priority is her son and she takes pride in being an Autism mom. She is a proud Autism advocate and is devoted to helping the Autism Community in any way she can. Bell is currently a RBT, pursuing her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in hopes of becoming a Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She plans to use her education to help children on the spectrum embrace who they are and overcome any obstacles they may face.
