Excellent, excellent, excellent!!

What more can I say. I have found so much in these books that leave me amazed, that make me raise my hands and worship God. The information draws me nearer to God, fleshes out the picture of God in my heart. I can speak more confidently about Him and to Him. I have always suspected that there was something wrong with the popular picture of a super nice God, who is all-forgiving and who has a sugary-sweet loving nature. These books have given me a biblically-balanced view of God. He is so much more than the popular version. I find myself in awe of Him even with a tinge of fear (not the scary type) but one of "He truly is GOD!" Now that I am starting to understand His attributes, I begin to see how wonderful our salvation really is, why the work on the cross is so significant and why everyone MUST bow their knees and call Him Lord. I sincerely believe that these books are a MUST READ for every Christian. I mean, how else are you going to follow Him, if you have no idea Who He is and what He is truly like? If they can rate these books 10 stars, I will do so. A.W Tozer is with our Lord even now, and as he lives in glory with the Lord that He has written so much about, he probably realises that these books he wrote, however excellent and true, are but shadows and the foothills of Who are Lord really is. I thank God that these books are available.

The Attribues of God Volume 2 by AW Tozer

With volume 1 and 2 Tozer covers many of the major attributes of God in a concise method that can be used for bible study (complete with study questions at the end). Each attribute is covered in a 15-20 page chapter with the book being about 180 pages. Compare this to other books on the Attributes which are too theological and are over 500 pages. The information is semi-scholary at best and can be read by all. Tozer sometimes goes off topic in the chapter. Practically, the goal is to get the reader closer to God, which he achieves.

One of the very best books I have every read regarding God. Very deep! I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know God in a very deep and real way!Very excellent!!!!!!!

The ability to turn within and worship God

What a powerful book, filled with the Holy Spirit. Tozer states in this book that we have lost the ability to turn within and worship God. This I believe is even more true today. If you are questioning the church's influence in our modern society and wonder why the manifestation of God is not in our congregation then read this book. Tozer gives great insight into the loss of the Devine presence. In Chapter 8 "God's Immanence" Tozer stated "Why then do we feel Him in the distance? It's the dissimilarity in our natures; it's the unlikeness." What a revelation to the church of our generation. What Insight into the present state of the church. I would recommend getting alone with God and reading this book on your knees.

Well worth reading

Any Tozer book is worth reading, but he really shines when he delves into the personality of God. If you will allow it this book's information can bring you closer to God and give you a better understanding as to why certain things are the way they are.
