A young woman disappears during an evening out at a French restaurant with her boyfriend. A local female detective and her female laboratory specialist take on the case, but become sidetracked when several Middle Eastern men are murdered within their jurisdiction. When the FBI steps in and takes over, the two women revert back to investigating the missing person case. However, both cases become entwined when the ladies discover evidence of a forthcoming terrorist attack involving the Vice President.
