An overlooked masterpeice

The greatest oil tanker ever made. The largest oil drilling platform ever built. A band of dedicated Irish terrorists plan to hijak one to destroy the other. Almost nothing stands in their way, save for the imprisoned crew of the tanker, and the quick-thinking men of the sitting-duck oil platform.This novel is brilliantly written, with a setting and style that slowly increases it's grip on the reader until the explosive finale. Not for the faint-of-heart, and with a brilliant cast of well-rounded characters and an awesome setting in the windswept North sea, it's a shame Norman Stahl's work here isn't more well-known, or available.
