Ever since its inception, the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad or sometimes the Shin Bet, have heavily depended on assassinations as a powerful means to deter, intimidate and punish those who were thought to be the enemies of Israel on many occasions. Throughout the Arab-Israeli conflict, there have been many controversial assassinations and clandestine operations from both sides. Many people from different levels of authority lost their lives for their involvement or alleged involvement in operations against the Hebrew state. However, identifying, tracking and finally eliminating the target was by no means easy to accomplish. The author answers the questions of why and how those people were eliminated by the Israeli killing machine.
